Kenneth Ralston (also known as Ken Ralston) was the visual effects supervisor on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. He was also credited as being the "inventor" of the design for Ceti eel on the design patent issued for it in 1984.
