Kenicki was an engineer stationed onboard the Enterprise-D in the late 24th century.
When the crew got under the influence of an alien telepathic wave, many crewmembers hallucinated, including Kenicki. He saw someone wearing an old Starfleet uniform in the lift near the warp core riding up, but when the lift arrived, no one was there. He told this story to Chief Gillespie. (TNG: "Night Terrors")
