Kellie Cockrell (born 26 June 1988; age 35) is an actress and dancer who has along with her twin sister Katie a supporting role as a Caitian twin in J.J. Abrams' 2013 sequel Star Trek Into Darkness. [1] They were cast and booked in February 2012. [2]

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA she started to dance at the early age of four. At the age of nine the two twin sisters danced with Ballet West on "The Nutcracker" and continued on several other plays including "Cinderella". Following their graduation with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication from the University of Utah they were featured in the television fantasy film Return to Halloweentown (2006) with Keone Young. To pursue an acting career they studied Shakespeare at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and appeared in a version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

So far, Kellie and Katie Cockrell appeared in over thirty national and regional commercials for projects such as Mountain America Credit Union and PlayStation. They also appeared at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards and the Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards 2011.

As dancer and actress, Kellie Cockrell worked on the science fiction comedy Minutemen (2008), the television musical The American Mall (2008, with Autumn Reeser), the short comedy Black Ear (2008), the comedy The Jerk Theory (2009), the television movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010), the short comedy Your Ad Here (2011), the short comedy Thanks, Smokey! (2011), the comedy Jack and Jill (2011), and episodes of America's Got Talent (2010), Dr. Phil (2011), Free Agents (2011, with Michael Buchman Silver), and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2012).

More recently, Cockrell worked on the comedy Feels So Good (2013, with Stephen Root and her twin sister), the comedy The Hungover Games (2014, with Brian Avery and Brian Simpson), and the drama Staten Island Summer (2014, again working with her sister).
