Kansas is a region in the central United States of America, home to the cities of Topeka, Kansas City and Dodge City.
In the mid 24th century, a Q named Amanda Rogers was born in Kansas. Her parents were murdered by the Q Continuum, who created a tornado which destroyed their home in the Kansas city of Topeka. (TNG: "True Q")
