Doctor Kalandra was a Federation physician in charge of a battlefield hospital on Ajilon Prime, during the 2373 Klingon invasion. She and her staff would become overburdened with the casualties from the Klingon attack. Dr. Julian Bashir would assist her after answering a distress call. She would be able to evacuate her patients when Jake Sisko accidentally saved them by causing a cave in that trapped the invading Klingons. Dr. Kalandra's husband was the science officer on board the USS Tecumseh. (DS9: "Nor the Battle to the Strong")

Dr. Kalandra was played by Karen Austin.
