The clone of Kahless (2369)

The clone of Kahless the Unforgettable was created by the clerics of Boreth in 2369 using DNA from the Knife of Kirom. The clerics wished to give the impression it was the real Kahless, who had returned from Sto-Vo-Kor to once again lead his people. When Worf visited the planet Boreth, Kahless (clone) would appear before him. Worf believed that the real Kahless had returned. Kahless and Worf talk about a new direction for the Klingon people, but Worf begins to doubt that he is the real Kahless when her cannot remember the taste of Klingon Warnog, or what existence is like in Sto-Vo-Kor. Kahless became engaged in combat with Gowron, after being challanged, and was defeated raising more doubts. The clerics would admit their fraud. Worf suggests that the clone Kahless be made Emperor and Gowron would continue to run the Klingon High Council. Kahless (clone) accepted and became the moral leader of the Klingon people. The clone Kahless told Worf that what mattered is Kahless' words and teach, not the man himself. (TNG: "Rightful Heir")

Emperor Kahless refused to talk with Lieutenant Commander Worf when the Starfleet officer tried to find the reason for a large Klingon fleet docked at Deep Space 9 in 2372. Kahless' lack of power as emperor emerged several days later when the fleet launched an invasion of the Cardassian Union. Emperor Kahless condemned the invasion but was overruled by Gowron. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior", "The Sword of Kahless")

The clone of Kahless was played by Kevin Conway.
