The Kaelon are a humanoid civilisation naive to the planet Kaelon II. In 2367 The Kaelons were forced to turn to the Federation for help as the sun of the Kaelon system was gradually dying and time was running out. Starfleet was able to assist in an experiment designed to revitalize the Kaelon sun. (TNG: "Half a Life")
