K'Ratak was a Klingon author who wrote the classic The Dream of the Fire. (TNG: "The Measure Of A Man")

After reviewing The Doctor's work Photons Be Free, Ardon Broht told him that he could be the next K'Ratak or a modern Leo Tolstoy. (VOY: "Author, Author")
