Jumja sticks are extremely sweet Bajoran confections made from the sap of the jumja tree.
There was a jumja stick kiosk on the Promenade of Deep Space 9, which in 2370 was operated by Lysia Arlin. Miles O'Brien liked jumja sticks for their sweetness, while Kira Nerys disliked them for the same reason. (DS9: "In the Hands of the Prophets") Rom also disliked jumja sticks. (DS9: "Ferengi Love Songs"). Rom's son Nog, howerver was fond of the confections (DS9: "A Man Alone").
