José Dominguez was the Starfleet Space Commander in charge of the Federation starship base on Corinth IV. In 2266, Dominguez eagerly awaited an "urgent" supply of hand-picked prime Mexican red chili peppers from his friend, Captain Kirk. The shipment was unfortunately delayed a few days as the USS Enterprise investigated the planet M-113.
