AT: "xx" Jonathan West was a Starfleet officer in the 24th century. His planet of origin was Alpha Carinae I. He was a lieutenant in 2369.

In 2369, he was a crew member aboard the USS Enterprise-D. He was one of seventeen individuals who were from worlds outside the Federation. His proteins were tested by Doctor Beverly Crusher for a possible configuration match with the fragments of a 4 billion-year old genetic program. The results came back negative. (TNG: "The Chase")

In the 2370s, he was listed as a Research and Development official on the dedication plaques of the Defiant-class starships. (DS9: "The Search, Part I", dedication plaque; DS9: "Valiant", dedication plaque; DS9: "The Dogs of War", dedication plaque)

In an unknown, alternate future timeframe, he was listed as a Tactical Systems officer on the dedication plaque of the USS Pasteur. (TNG: "All Good Things..." dedication plaque)
