In 2294 and '95, he was a research associate for the primary investigator, Dr. Susan Nuress, on the northern continent of Oby VI. As a member of the medical research team, Dr. Povill assisted in the development of a cure for the plasma plague on the planet. His name was listed on an etiological report.
