Johnny was played by Spencer Daniels, who was cast as Kirk's older brother George Samuel Kirk. However, when all of Daniels' other scenes were removed, the character of George was essentially eliminated, and Kirk was overdubbed when he saw "George" in his joyride, referring to him instead as "Johnny".
