John Harrington Bland (born 1 February 1968; age 56) is the actor who played Kov in the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "Fusion".

Bland made his film debut in The Jackal (1997, with Daniel Dae Kim and Richard Lineback. Next was Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999, with Richard Riehle. Bland was cast in Blow (2001, featuring Tony Amendola and Randy Mulkey). Also that year Bland co-starred in Bandits with Richard Riehle and Peggy Miley. Bland was then in The Girl Next Door (2004, with Richard Fancy and Autumn Reeser). Bland then was seen in the short film Baggage Claim (2007) opposite Spencer Garrett. Next was Changeling (2008, with Colby French, Scott Leva, Michael Lovern, Jim Nieb, Ric Sarabia and Devon Sobieray. Then there was the 2010 telefilm Unanswered Prayers with Madchen Amick.

For work on television series, Bland guested on Providence starring Concetta Tomei in "Thank You Providence" (1999) with Patrick Fabian. Next was Dharma & Greg starring Mitchell Ryan in "Playing the Field" (2000). Bland was seen on Malcolm in the Middle in "Traffic Jam" also in 2000 with Clyde Kusatsu. Bland acted on the short lived Big Shots in Car Trouble" (2007) with Jessica Collins.

Bland's most active work on television was a news reported on the New York City set sitcom Spin City starring Victoria Dillard and Alan Ruck. In the first season Bland was seen in "The Rivals", "A Star is Born", "Meet Tommy Dugan", all in 1996, then "Striptease" and "Mayor Over Miami" in 1997. Bland returned in the second season that same year in the Christmas-themed "Miracle Near 34th Street" and in 1998, "Deaf Man Walking" with Matt Malloy (Bland's sole time on Spin City where he worked with another Trek actor other than Dillard and Ruck) and "Single White Male."
