John Paul Caglione, Jr. (born 19 December 1957; age 66) is an Academy Award and Emmy Award winning make-up artist whose work includes the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "Allegiance" for which he received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Makeup for a Series in 1990 which he shared with Michael Westmore, Gerald Quist, June Westmore, Hank Edds, Doug Drexler, and Ron Walters.

For his work on Dick Tracy (1990), Caglione won an Academy Award for Best Makeup in 1991 which he shared with Doug Drexler. The team also won a Saturn Award and a BAFTA Film Award for Best Makeup. In 2009 Caglione received another Academy Award nomination in the category Best Achievement in Makeup for his work on The Dark Knight as well as a Saturn Award nomination for Best Make-Up. He previously received two BAFTA Film Award nominations for Best Makeup Artist in 1984 for the fantasy comedy Zelig and in 1993 for the drama Chaplin, shared with Jill Rockow. In 1994 Caglione received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Makeup for a Series for his work on the show Saturday Night Live, in 2004 he won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Makeup for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special (Non-Prosthetic) for his work on the television mini series Angels in America, and in 2010 he received a third nomination for Outstanding Makeup for a Miniseries or a Movie (Non-Prosthetic) for the television drama You Don't Know Jack.

Throughout his career, he worked as makeup artist for actors such as Michael Douglas and Melanie Griffith (1992, Shining Through), Robert Downey, Jr. (1992, Chaplin), Christopher Plummer (2000, television drama American Tragedy), Al Pacino (2002, Insomnia, 2003 The Recruit, 2003 Gigli, 2003 television mini series Angels in America, and 2010 television drama You Don't Know Jack), Russell Crowe (2007,3:10 to Yum, 2007, American Gangster, and 2009 State of Play), and Heath Ledger (2008, The Dark Knight).
