John Boyer (16 October 1945 – 12 May 2012; age 66) [1] is an actor who played a guard in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Turnabout Intruder".
He dated actress Sharon Farrell and had a son, actor Chance Boyer, with her. He later married Dina Droegkamp Boyer with whom he had a daughter, Madelaine Boyer.
Among his acting credits are the film Ski Party (1965, with Yvonne Craig and Dick Miller), two episodes of Rawhide (1965, one featuring Vic Perrin, Hal Baylor and Anthony Caruso), a guest appearance in the Gunsmoke episode The Goldtakers (1966, with Martin Landau, Roy Jenson, Pete Kellett and Hal Needham; directed by Vincent McEveety), and an uncredited appearance in the film Don't Make Waves (1967, with Gilbert Green and Tom Curtis).
