Johanna McCloy is the actress who played Ensign Maddy Calloway in the Star Trek: The Next Generation seventh season episode "Eye of the Beholder" in 1994.

She also co-starred in the award winning short movie I Killed My Lesbian Wife, Hung Her on a Meat Hook, and Now I Have a Three-Picture Deal at Disney (1993, with Tommy Hinkley) directed by Ben Affleck. McCloy has starred in many national and regional commercials, i.e. Ford, Miller Light, Purina Dog Chow, Payless Shoes, Novartis, Blue Cross, and others. She played Dianne in the two-person play, "Square One," which received the L.A. Times theater pick, and also garnered a Desert Theater League acting award for her role as Catherine in "A View from the Bridge."

Other acting credits include featured roles in episodes of It's a Miracle (1999) and MADtv (2000, with Debra Wilson).

She's currently the director of Soy Happy, an advocacy group which encourages restaurants to offer more vegetarian options. Soy Happy is mostly known for opening the door to veggie dogs in Major League Baseball stadiums. McCloy is also the co-founder and editor of Dare To Be Fabulous, a growing anthology of personal stories from women on all walks of life, famous and otherwise.
