Joe Paz is an actor who appeared as an extra in many episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series. As a background actor he received no credit for any of his parts.

He filmed his scenes for "Wolf in the Fold" on Monday 3 July 1967 at Desilu Stage 10, his scene for "The Changeling" on Thursday 13 July 1967, his scenes for "The Trouble with Tribbles" on Thursday 24 August 1967, his scenes for "Journey to Babel" on Monday 25 September 1967 all three at at Stage 9, and his scenes for "Patterns of Force" on Tuesday 5 December 1967 at Stage 10.

Prior to his Star Trek role, Paz had supporting and background roles in the comedy Excuse My Dust (1951), an episode of The Jack Benny Program (1957), and the musical South Pacific (1958, with Ray Walston and France Nuyen).
