Joycelyn O'Brien (born 23 February 1958; age 66) is the actress who portrayed Mitena Haro in the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "Allegiance".

Beside her guest role in Star Trek, O'Brien also appeared in episodes of The Nutt House (1989, with Brian McNamara, Molly Hagan, Gregory Itzin, and Patti Tippo) and Quantum Leap (1991, with Scott Bakula, Dean Stockwell, Alan Scarfe, and Noley Thornton).

O'Brien played supporting roles in the television drama False Witness (1989, with Martin Goslins), Rock Hudson (1990, with Daphne Ashbrook, Andrew Robinson, Michael Ensign, Francis Guinan, Lawrence Dobkin, and David Sage), the television drama Sins of the Mother (1991, with Biff Yeager), Oscar (1991, with Kurtwood Smith, Mark Metcalf, and Rick Avery), The Mambo Kings (1992, with Jonathan del Arco and Susie Stillwell), the television thriller Deliver Them from Evil: The Taking of Alta View (1992, with Terri Garr, Terry O'Quinn, and Gary Frank), A Place to Be Loved (1993, with Cyril O'Reilly, Sam Anderson, and Elizabeth Dennehy), and the television drama Roseanne: An Unauthorized Biography (1994, with David Graf, J. Patrick McCormack, Lee Spencer, Ian Patrick Williams, and Jandi Swanson).

In 1997, O'Brien worked as member of the ADR Loop Group and also had a supporting role in the television science fiction thriller When Time Expires with Mark Ginther and Annie O'Donnell.
