Jenn Rose

Template:Realworld Template:2008spoiler Jennifer "Jenn" Rose is a makeup and scenic artist currently working on Star Trek as a mask fabricator for the Proteus Make-up FX Team.

After attending the Orange County High School of the Arts in Santa Ana, California, Rose studied makeup and costume design as well as scenic design and construction as part of the Theatre program at California State University, Fullerton. She took the program's advanced prosthetics course several times, eventually becoming a teaching assistant for the class. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Production and Design.

Rose has designed hair and makeup for various stage productions since 2000. From 2001 through 2004, she worked as makeup artist and as a member of the props crew for Knott's Scary Farm Halloween Haunt at Knott's Berry Farm in Placentia, California. Since 2001, she has worked in sculpting and resin casting for Haunted House Productions.

In 2004, Rose was one of eight competitors in the International Makeup Artist Trade Show's Star Trek Alien Competition. For her selection, she also designed the character's costume and fabricated the headpieces. [1]

Prior to Star Trek, Rose worked on a number of low-budget horror movies, including The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (starring Tony Todd and Tracy Scoggins), Hatchet (also featuring Tony Todd), and Born (starring Denise Crosby). She has also worked on several television commercials and music videos.
