Template:Realworld Jeff Gersh was a sound effects editor on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. His work on all three series helped the Star Trek franchise earn four Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding (Individual Achievement in) Sound Editing for a Series. Gersh also worked on the video games Star Trek: Borg and Star Trek: Klingon.

Gersh also worked with many other members of the Trek sound crew on a number on two films, 1997's The Only Thrill (starring Sharon Lawrence) and 1998's Family Plan. Ruth Adelman, Dale Chaloukian, Doug Davey, Chris Haire, T. Ashley Harvey, Bill Henderson, Mace Matiosian, Richard L. Morrison, Miguel Rivera, Jivan Tahmizian, Masanobu Tomita, Audrey Trent, Chris Trent, Jerry Trent, Guy Tsujimoto, Eric Williams, and Bill Wistrom all worked on the former, while all except Harvey and Rivera worked on the latter.

His other credits include the 2001 drama Moonbeams, on which he was a film editor, and the 2003 biographical film The Manson Family, for which he recorded additional dialogue.
