Jeffrey "Jeff" Boehm is an actor who appeared as a Starfleet cadet in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. He can be seen sitting next to Zoe Saldana during the scene involving Kirk's Starfleet Academy hearing, and prior to that he appeared in the Kobayashi Maru scenario simulation. He worked a few weeks on the movie over the course of the filming. As a background actor Boehm received no credit for his appearance.   
Boehm earned a MA in Literature and Film Studies from the University of Chicago and a BA in Finance and Criminology from the Marquette University.
Boehm previously appeared as a thug in the short drama Hunter's Fall (2005), as King Cyrus in the television documentary Iran: The Next Iraq? (2005), as Ben Chapman in the Amazing Sports Stories episode Jackie Mitchell: The Girl Who Struck Out Babe Ruth (2008), and as a blue Swiss guard in Ron Howard's thriller Angels & Demons (2009, with Steve Kehela, Anna Katarina, Anthony Bonaventura, Calvin Dean, Nancy Guerriero, Arne Starr, and Shannon Watson). In addition he performed in several independent films and stage plays, worked as body double and background performer on television series such as CSI: Miami and NCIS, and was photographed for various print ads and magazines. 
He can next be seen as company soldier Emerson in upcoming civil war drama Dog Jack (2009) and as Doug in writer/director Paul Kampf's independent drama From Grace (2009).
