Javier Maribona-Picard was an ancestor of the Picard family, who lived during the 17th century.

Ten years following the 1680 Pueblo Revolt, Maribona-Picard was involved in the brutal and "savage" reconquest of the area later known as New Mexico. Hundreds of Native Americans were killed and thousands more maimed by the returning Spanish forces. His 24th century descendant Captain Jean-Luc Picard had never heard of either Maribona-Picard or the incident in question until Anthwara informed him of it in 2370. (TNG: "Journey's End")
