Jason Vaughn (born 15 November 1977; age 40) is an actor and filmmaker who had a background role as a Starfleet cadet in 2009's Star Trek. [1]

Prior to his role in Star Trek, Vaughn appeared in dozens of stage plays, had guest roles in the television series North Mission Road (2007) and It Is Written (2008), and portrayed an undead in the horror film Edges of Darkness (2008).

Vaughn is the co-founder and co-owner of the independent film production company "Todash Productions", based in Los Angeles, California. In 2007 Vaughn and his company produced the television series Sex Culture, hosted by Vaughn himself. In 2009, Vaughn co-wrote, produced, and portrayed the leading role in the independent thriller Good Intentions.
