Jason Leland Adams (born 7 February 1963; age 61) is the actor who played Benyan in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine seventh season episode "Covenant".

Adams has been married to actress and artistic director Alicia Hoge since 1996. The couple has three children. Hoge appeared as Lissan in the Star Trek: Enterprise fourth season episode "The Aenar".

Adams had two recurring roles as General George Custer and Preston A. Lodge III in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, on which he performed between 1994 and 1997 along with regulars Chad Allen, Joe Lando, Frank Collison, Helene Udy, Erika Flores, Barbara Babcock, Gail Strickland, Nick Ramus, and Michelle C. Bonilla. In 2014, he reprised this role in the short comedy Dr. Quinn, Morphine Woman with Jane Seymour.

In 1995, Adams starred as US Federal Agent Dan Sandler alongside Stephanie Niznik in the short-lived action series Vanishing Son. In thirteen episodes he worked alongside Michael Cavanaugh, William Lucking, Tamlyn Tomita, Caitlin Brown, Nicholas Guest, Steve Rankin, Billy Burke, John Pyper-Ferguson, Michael Ensign, and Michael Reilly Burke.

He also appeared in the drama Black & White: A Love Story (1996, with Jeb Brown and his wife Alicia), the short films Weeping Shriner (1999) and Water and Power (1999, with Stephen Rowe), and the Legacy episode "Winter's Storm" (1999, with Brett Cullen, Lisa Banes, and Casey Biggs).
