Jason Evers (born January 2, 1922 in New York City, New York; died March 13, 2005) is the actor who played Rael in the Star Trek episode "Wink of an Eye".

He is most famous for starring as "Dr. Bill Cortner" in the 1962 science fiction/horror B-movie classic The Brain That Wouldn't Die. He also co-starred with fellow TOS performers Nichelle Nichols, William Marshall, and Lloyd Haynes in the 1967 adventure Tarzan's Jungle Rebellion and also co-starred with George Takei and Irene Tsu in the classic 1968 war drama The Green Berets. In 1971, he appeared with William Windom and Ricardo Montalban in Escape from the Planet of the Apes.

His first claim to fame was the role of Pitcairn in the short-lived 1960 western television series Wrangler, created by Gene Roddenberry. He went on to become a regular on another western series, The Guns of Will Sonnett, from 1967 through 1969, and to make frequent guest appearances on Mission: Impossible. Other TV shows he appeared on include Fantasy Island (with Ricardo Montalban) and The A-Team (with Dwight Schultz).
