Jandi Swanson (born 18 January 1978; age 46) is the actress who portrayed Katie in the Star Trek: The Next Generation first season episode "When The Bough Breaks".

Swanson started her acting career with a featured part in the 1987 crime drama Less Than Zero on which she worked with actress Jackie Swanson. Also in 1987 she appeared in episodes of My Sister Sam (with Joel Brooks) and Matlock (with William Schallert). Prior to her work on Star Trek, Swanson had guest roles in the television series Designing Women (1987-1988), Full House (1988, with Wendy Schaal), L.A. Law (1988, with Corbin Bernsen, Larry Drake, Steve Vinovich, Daniel Benzali, and Larry Cedar), and Something Is Out There (1988, with Buddy Joe Hooker and Dakin Matthews) and appeared in the television movie A Place at the Table (1988, with John Miranda).

Further work includes the horror film Pumpkinhead (1988), a recurring role as Jenny Drake in three episodes of Baywatch (1989, with Monte Markham, Greg Barnett, James Sloyan, and Gabriel Damon), and guest roles on ABC Afterschool Specials (1989), Golden Girls (1990), CBS Schoolbreak Special (1990, with David Ogden Stiers and Concetta Tomei), and Normal Life (1990).

In 1993 Swanson received a Young Artist Award nomination as Outstanding Young Ensemble Cast in a Motion Picture for her work on the 1992 comedy Ladybugs. Jeannetta Arnette and Nancy Parsons also worked on this film. The following years she had featured parts in the television thriller A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story (1992, with Trek alumni Stephen Collins, Stephen Root, Christine Jansen, Lori Hallier, Tricia O'Neil, Clayton Landey, Susanna Thompson, Erick Weiss, Norman Large, Thomas Kopache, Brian Markinson, Jeff Allin, Jeff Hayenga, Randal Patrick, Bobby Burns, and Bud Davis) and its sequel Her Final Fury: Betty Broderick, the Last Chapter (1992, with Stephen Root, Clayton Landey, Christine Jansen, Richard McGonagle, Margot Rose, Renata Scott, Milt Tarver, J. Downing, Charles Lucia, Marcy Goldman, and Stephen Collins), the television drama Roseanne: An Unauthorized Biography (1994, with David Graf, Joycelyn O'Brien, Ian Patrick Williams, J. Patrick McCormack, and Lee Spencer), and Beverly Hills, 90210 (1998, with Ann Gillespie and Reggie Lee).

Swanson's last known work was the part of an eager fan in the 2003 drama I Love Your Work, with Pat Healy.
