James Thomton is a writer who co-wrote the story for the Star Trek: Voyager first season episode "Jetrel" along with Scott Nimerfro.
In 1993, Thomton also wrote the episodes "Pleasant Screams" and "Gorilla's Paw" for the animated television series Tales from the Cryptkeeper.
