James Greene (1 December 19269 November 2018; age 91) was an actor who appeared in three Star Trek television spin-off series.

Greene was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and was probably best known for his role as Uncle Moodri in several episodes of Alien Nation (1989-1990), which starred Gary Graham, Eric Pierpoint, Michele Scarabelli and Ron Fassler. He also portrayed Davey McQuinn on the sitcom The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd (1987-1991), appearing alongside James Gleason (who played Davey's son Jimmy), John Glover, Christine Healy, Beverly Leech, and Miguel Perez.

Greene appeared in The Traveling Executioner (1970, with Graham Jarvis, Marianna Hill, Stefan Gierasch, Logan Ramsey, and James Sloyan).

Greene's later projects were guest roles in episodes of Las Vegas (2005, with Nikki Cox), Joey (2005), Cold Case (2006, with Michael Cavanaugh, Todd Babcock, Eve H. Brenner, K Callan, and Steve Vinovich), Modern Family (2011), and a recurring role on Parks and Recreation (2012-2013, with Adam Scott).

Greene died, at the age of 91, on 9 November 2018. [1]
