Jake Foy (born 1 November 1990; age 33) is an actor who filmed scenes as a featured USS Enterprise bridge crewmember in Star Trek Beyond. [1]

Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Foy joined the Young Actors' Theatre in Niagara Falls at young age. Later he attended the Ontario College of Art & Design where he studied advertising and design. Between 2010 and 2013 he attended Sheridan College and graduated in Musical Theatre Performance.

During this time he appeared in stage plays such as "Rent", "Oklahoma!", "Spring Awakening", and "Come From Away". Further stage work on several festivals include Corey Agnew's "The Sunshine Boys" and Lezlie Wade's "No Chance in Hell" at the Toronto Fringe. Beside his stage work, Foy also appeared in several independent and short film productions.

More recently, he wrapped filming of the short films Miranda (2014) and Ariel Unraveling (2016) and had guest roles in episodes of Arrow (2015, with Neal McDonough) and Minority Report (2015).
