Jaime Hubbard (born 1962) is the actress who played Salia in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "The Dauphin" in 1989. She received credit as Jamie Hubbard and her costume from this episode was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay.  Hubbard was interviewed by Pier Simeri for the article "Jaime Hubbard – Salia", published in The Official Star Trek: The Next Generation Magazine issue 9, pp. 24-25. This interview was originally published in a different form in the Goodyear, Arizona-based newspaper West Valley View.
Hubbard, who was born in Germany, attended the audition for the part and was called back two or three weeks later. Another week later she filmed "The Dauphin", around New Year's Day 1989. She attended the New York University's Film School and studied screenwriting and directing. After she moved to Los Angeles, she studied acting two years under Joanne Baron. In addition to her acting career she continued modeling which she started at the age of 14 in Hawaii.
Hubbard played supporting roles in the film The Hitch-Hikers (1989) and in the television film Rosemary (1992, with Marc Alaimo and Time Winters). She also had a guest role as Melissa in the Ellen episode "Adam's Birthday" (1994, with Brian Cousins) and played a nurse in the Playtypus Man episode "Out of the Mouths of Babes" (1995, with Brian George). Other projects include an episode of the television series Ohara and several commercials such as one for Sprite.
Hubbard graduated from Antioch University in 2009 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, then attended and graduated from the Family Therapy Training Program at the Southern California Counseling Center. She currently has a psychotherapy practice in Los Angeles.
