Jacob Chambers (born 28 January 1978; age 46) is a stuntman who performed stunts in several episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise.

Chambers was born in California and is the son of stuntman Steven Chambers who worked in the stunt industry for over forty years and doubled actors such as Paul Newman. [1] Between 1993 and 1996, Chambers attended the Douglas County High School and always wanted to become a stuntman, following his father. One of his first jobs was D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994, with Lena Banks, Brian Avery, and Mickey Cassidy), followed by stunt and stunt acting parts in episodes of Melrose Place (1997, with Leslie Hoffman), V.I.P. (1999, with Rick Avery, Brian Avery, Jennifer Caputo, and coordinated by Joni Avery), 7th Heaven (1999, starring Stephen Collins and Catherine Hicks), The Pretender (1999), and Martial Law (1999, with Henry Kingi, Jr. and coordinated by Jeff Cadiente).

Chambers then performed stunts in Enemy of the State (1998, coordinated by Charles Picerni, Jr.), Pleasantville (1998), The Mod Squad (1999, coordinated by Shane Dixon), Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999), Whatever It Takes (2000), The Perfect Storm (2000, coordinated by Dan Barringer), The Patriot (2000), Dude, Where's My Car? (2000, coordinated by Monty Cox), Evolution (2001, with Janet Brady, Keith Campbell, and Tim Trella), The Fast and the Furious (2001, coordinated by Mic Rodgers), Rat Race (2001), The Time Machine (2002, coordinated by Jeff Imada), Spider-Man (2002, with Michael Papajohn, Mark Wagner, George Colucci, Paul Eliopoulos, Rosine "Ace" Hatem, Oliver Keller, Tom Morga, Spice Williams, and Marcus Young), and Clockstoppers (2002, directed by Jonathan Frakes).

In 2002, Chambers received his first Taurus World Stunt Award nomination in the category Best Driving for his work on Bandits (2001 film)|Bandits}}. He shared this nomination with Bruce Barbour and Terry Jackson. The same year he won a Taurus Award in the category Best Fire Stunt for his work in The Last Castle.

He worked on a number of episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000, with Jennifer Caputo), Boston Public (2000), Black Scorpion (2001, with Joey Anaya and Edward Conna), V.I.P. (1999-2001), Charmed (2001, with Craig Baxley, Jr. and coordinated by Noon Orsatti), JAG (1999-2002), Firefly (2002), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1998-2003), Angel (1999-2004), and Will & Grace (2003).

In 2003, Chambers made his debut as Stunt Coordinator when he worked on the short comedy Party Foul. Further stunt work includes Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003, coordinated by Mic Rodgers and Tim Trella), S.W.A.T. (2003), Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), The Haunted Mansion (2003, coordinated by Doug Coleman), Species III (2004, with Boni Yanagisawa, Carl Ciarfalio, Theo Kypri, and Jeff Wolfe), Constantine (2005, coordinated by R.A. Rondell), and Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), as well as episodes of CSI: Miami (2004, with Gary Wayton), The O.C. (2003 and 2005, with Shawn Crowder and Michael Owen and coordinated by Joel Kramer), Alias (2005, coordinated by Shauna Duggins), ER (2005, with Jay Caputo and Tony Donno), and The Inside (2005).

Because of his height of 6'4", Chambers can be easily found when performing action scenes. In addition, he worked as stunt double for Jared Padalecki in Supernatural (2005, coordinated by Tony Donno) and Gilmore Girls (2003 and 2005), Josh Duhamel in Las Vegas (2003-2005), Steve Valentine in Crossing Jordan (2004-2005, with Stacey Carino), Lee Pace in Bryan Fuller's Pushing Daisies (2007-2008) and in The Resident (2011), James Cromwell in Surrogates (2009), Armie Hammer in J. Edgar (2011), Colin Hanks in Dexter (2011, with Kevin Derr), Jonathan Cake in Desperate Housewives (2011), Will Arnett in Up All Night (2011-2012), and Cheyenne Jackson in Bryan Singer's Mockingbird Lane (2012, with Laurie Creach and Jade Quon).

Further stunt work includes Poseidon (2006), episodes of Criminal Minds (2007, with Alina Andrei), Numbers (2006-2007, coordinated by Peewee Piemonte), Ghost Whisperer (2005-2007), Cold Case (2006 and 2009), Days of Our Lives (2010), and NCIS (2009 and 2011, with Tom McComas and coordinated by Diamond Farnsworth), Yes Man (2008), Land of the Lost (2009), Water for Elephants (2011, coordinated by Chris O'Hara), Gangster Squad (2013, coordinated by Doug Coleman), and episodes of Chuck (2011, with Allan Graf), Longmire (2012), Southland (2013, with Max Daniels), Revolution (2013, coordinated by Jeff Wolfe), Suburgatory (2013 and 2014), and Grimm (2014, with Eliza Coleman).

In 2016, Chambers was part of the stunt cast which received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination in the category Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture for their work in the sequel Jurassic World which he shared with Gary Baxley, Jeff Cadiente, Tony Donno, Zero Kazama, Eddie Mathews, Johnny C. Meier, Austin Priester, and R.A. Rondell.

More recently, Chambers performed stunts in Get Hard (2015), Terminator Genisys (2015, coordinated by Joel Kramer), Navy Seals vs. Zombies (2015), Fire Twister (2015), The Divergent Series: Allegiant (2016), and the television series Underground (2016) and worked as stunt coordinator on the short drama The Lot (2015).
