Jaheel

Jack Kehler as Captain Jaheel.

Jack Kehler is the actor who played Jaheel in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Babel".

Kehler made his acting debut in the science fiction film Strange Invaders. Co-starring in this film are fellow DS9 actors Louise Fletcher, Wallace Shawn, and Kenneth Tobey, and frequent Star Trek guest actor Thomas Kopache.

In 1990, he appeared in the action/comedy Why Me?, along with Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Pollard, Tony Plana, and Lawrence Tierney. He followed this with roles in such films as I Love You To Death (1990, with John Billingsley), Point Break (1991, with Lori Petty), The Last Boy Scout (1991, with Noble Willingham, Bruce McGill, and Frank Collison), Grand Canyon (1991, with Alfre Woodard), Wyatt Earp (1994, with David Andrews), Waterworld (1995, with John Fleck and Lee Arenberg), One Eight Seven (1997, with Tony Plana and Richard Riehle), The Big Lebowski (1998, with Leon Russom), Forces of Nature (1999, with Ronny Cox, George D. Wallace, Anne Haney, Bert Remsen, and Bill Erwin), True Crime (1999, with Michael McKean, William Windom, and Anthony Zerbe), and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999, with Clint Howard and Charles Napier). He more recently appeared in the 2005 remake of Fever Pitch, along with James B. Sikking.

He also appeared in the 1995 made-for-television version of The Invaders, starring Star Trek: Enterprise actor Scott Bakula.

In 2005, he starred with fellow DS9 guest star Kate Asner in What's Up, Scarlet?
