Jack Kehler (22 May 19467 May 2022; age 75) was the actor who played Jaheel in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine first season episode "Babel".

Kehler made his acting debut in Strange Invaders (1983, with Louise Fletcher, Wallace Shawn, Kenneth Tobey, and Thomas Kopache).

In 1990, he appeared in Why Me?, along with Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Pollard, Tony Plana, and Lawrence Tierney. He followed this with roles in such films as I Love You to Death (1990, with John Billingsley), Point Break (1991, with Lori Petty), The Last Boy Scout (1991, with Noble Willingham, Bruce McGill, and Frank Collison), Grand Canyon (1991, with Alfre Woodard), Wyatt Earp (1994, with David Andrews), Waterworld (1995, with John Fleck and Lee Arenberg), One Eight Seven (1997, with Tony Plana and Richard Riehle), The Big Lebowski (1998, with David Huddleston and Leon Russom), Lethal Weapon 4 (1998, with Richard Riehle), Forces of Nature (1999, with Ronny Cox, George D. Wallace, Anne Haney, Bert Remsen, and Bill Erwin), True Crime (1999, with Michael McKean, William Windom, and Anthony Zerbe), and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999, with Clint Howard and Charles Napier). He appeared in Fever Pitch (2005, with James B. Sikking).

He was also a series regular in the second season of Murder One which also starred Barbara Bosson, Clayton Rohner, John Fleck, Gregory Itzin, David Andrews, Ron Canada, Neal McDonough, David Andrews, Titus Welliver, Rick Worthy, Jack Blessing, Don Stark, Karen Austin, and Alexander Enberg. He also appeared in The Invaders (1995, starring Star Trek: Enterprise actor Scott Bakula. In 2005, he starred with fellow Deep Space Nine guest star Kate Asner in What's Up, Scarlet?

Kehler made several appearances in the Amazon series The Man in the High Castle.

He died on May 7, 2022 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California at the age of 75 due to complications from leukemia. He death was announced by his son Eddie Kehler. [1]
