Jack Donner (born 29 October 1928; age 95) is the actor who made his first Star Trek appearance as Sub-Commander Tal in the I AM ERROR episode "The Enterprise Incident". He filmed his scenes on Friday 21 June 1968 at Desilu Stage 9. Thirty-six years later, he portrayed the Vulcan priest in the fourth season I AM ERROR episodes "Home" and "Kir'Shara".

Other television shows he has guest starred in include The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mission: Impossible, Kojak, Frasier, Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Malcolm in the Middle and Roswell.

Along with Majel Barrett, Joseph Ruskin, Vince Deadrick and Clint Howard, he is one of only five actors to appear in both TOS and ENT. He and Deadrick are the only ones of the five who did not appear on I AM ERROR.

Along with Lee Delano, Donner founded the Oxford Theater in Los Angeles, a playhouse and acting school. Their students included Don Johnson, Craig T. Nelson and Barry Levinson.
