Iva Lane is the actress who appeared as a crewmember aboard the USS Enterprise in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Eight years later, she played the Bynar Zero Zero in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "11001001". Footage from this second appearance was later reused in the second season episode "Shades of Gray".
Parts of her The Motion Picture costume were sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] Her Bynar costume was sold off along with the three other Bynar costumes at Christie's 40 Years of Star Trek: The Collection, lot 558, sale 1778. [2] [3]
In 1982 she portrayed Sarah in the Lou Grant episode Unthinkable which featured Lily Mariye, Matthew Faison, and Gregory Itzin. [4] One year later, Lane had an unfortunate role as Bunny in the thriller 10 to Midnight. [5] Fellow TNG guest stars Shay Duffin and Patti Tippo also appeared in this film.
