An isograted circuit was an important component of 20th century computers, first introduced by industrialist Henry Starling in the year 1969. It was the first innovation in a series of technological advancements introduced by Starling, comprising the computer age of the 20th century.

Unknown to anyone at the time, the isograted circuit, along with all of the other advancements introduced by Starling, were based on his primitive understanding of technology from the 29th century timeship Aeon, which Starling had appropriated after it crash-landed in 1967. (VOY: "Future's End")
