L. Isao Telaka was a male Human 24th century Starfleet officer.

In the mid-2360s, he was captain of the starship USS Lantree.

In 2365, he, and the rest of his crew, were killed following their visit to the Darwin Genetic Research Station on Gagarin IV. Telaka, who was only 30 years old at the time, died of premature aging caused by exposure to the antibodies of the genetically-engineered children at Darwin Station. (TNG: "Unnatural Selection")

Backgound information Edit

Telaka was portrayed by an unknown actor and voiced by another unknown actor.

In the German version of this episode, he was voiced by Hans W. Hamacher. Because it was German, it is assumed that he did not voice Telaka in the English version, leaving both his actor and voice actor unnamed.(citation needededit)

His age is estimated, based on Commander Riker's comment that "he was my age." An early draft of the final script stated that Telaka was 32 years old and that he had aged to the equivalent of that of a two-hundred-year old at the time of his death.
