An intelligence report was a type of report documenting information gathered by a government or institution. Such information could be gathered through espionage conducted by an intelligence agency or other non-covert observations.

In 2152, while being interrogated by Gosis, Jonathan Archer (posing as a member of the Alliance) told him that apparently intelligence reports had underestimated Gosis' madness, since he actually believed in aliens. (ENT: "The Communicator")

In 2154, Archer received an intelligence report that a Klingon warship had been spotted near the Proxima colony. (ENT: "Borderland")

In the early 2360s, Starfleet received intelligence reports the Klingons were working on an interphase generator, but that project didn't leave the preliminary stages. (TNG: "The Next Phase")

In 2368, three weeks after Spock's unexpected disapperance from Vulcan, intelligence reports placed him on Romulus. Jean-Luc Picard later studied those reports. (TNG: "Unification I")

In 2369, Starfleet intelligence reports suggested the Cardassians would try to seize a disputed star system along the Federation-Cardassian border, hoping the Federation wouldn't go to war over one system. (TNG: "Chain of Command, Part I")

In 2370, every intelligence report getting to Jean-Luc Picard suggested the Maquis wanted to escalate their activities. (TNG: "Preemptive Strike")

The Federation's agreement with the Romulan Star Empire on the USS Defiant's cloaking device from 2371 stated, that the Romulans would get all Federation intelligence reports on the Dominion. (DS9: "The Search, Part I", "Defiant", "Visionary")

That year, Thomas Riker and the Maquis obtained a Cardassian intelligence report on a military buildup in the Orias system. (DS9: "Defiant")

In late 2371, a Founder, posing as Ambassador Krajensky, claimed that several intelligence reports indicated a coup d'etat on Tzenketh. (DS9: "The Adversary")

In 2374, Admiral William Ross gave Benjamin Sisko a written intelligence report on a Dominion sensor array in the Argolis Cluster, so he could develop an attack plan. (DS9: "Behind the Lines")

During Operation Return that year, initial Dominion intelligence reports indicated a large Federation fleet had left Starbase 375, later confirmed to be heading for Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Favor the Bold")

Intelligence reports was one of the forms of tactical support that Captain Kathryn Janeway were interested in obtaining from the Kradin Ambassador Treen in 2374, before proceeding with a mission to rescue Chakotay from the Vori. (VOY: "Nemesis")

In late 2374, intelligence reports indicated the Dominion had placed hundreds of orbital weapon platforms in the Chin'toka system. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets")

In mid-2375, Grand Nagus Zek had many Starfleet intelligence reports. (DS9: "The Siege of AR-558")

Accurate intelligence reports on the Breen and their homeworld were hard to come by during the 2370s. Dominion intelligence reports indicated by 2375 it was a "frozen wasteland", although Weyoun 8 believed its climate was "quite comfortable". (DS9: "The Changing Face of Evil")

Around the same time, the Cardassian Rebellion also had intelligence reports. Odo and Garak used those to identify vulnerable targets such as Adarak Prime. (DS9: "When It Rains...")

A bit later, Starfleet intelligence reports showed that the Dominion had completely withdrawn from Federation, Klingon and Romulan territory. (DS9: "The Dogs of War")
