The induction stabilizer was a stabilizer which was a part of a starship's deflector system. They were used by both the Federation and the Dominion.
In 2374, Miles O'Brien reported that the induction stabilizers on a Jem'Hadar fighter captured by Starfleet checked out and were ready for the ship's launch. (DS9: "A Time to Stand")
The induction stabilizers of the USS Defiant were used, along with the booster modulators, to imprint a Federation warp signature on a Cardassian asteroid-moon during the First Battle of Chin'toka. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets")
