Ijarna was an inhabitant of Deep Space 9.

In 2372, he was assaulted by his wife following an incident of public lewdness on the Promenade. The night of the reported assault, Odo had caught the two "misbehaving" behind the information kiosk on the second level.

Odo briefed the incident the following Tuesday with Kira Nerys during their weekly review of the criminal activity report.
