The IKS T'Acog was a Klingon cruiser that was in service with the Klingon Defense Force in the mid-24th century.

In 2364, the T'Acog was sent to apprehend the Klingon criminals Korris, Konmel, and Kunivas, who had commandeered the Talarian freighter Batris. By feigning a power failure, the fugitives were able to lure the T'Acog into close range, and then destroyed it with a barrage of merculite rockets when the cruiser lowered its shields to board the freighter. There were no survivors. (TNG: "Heart of Glory")

According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (3rd ed., p. 489), the T'Acog was a K't'inga-class battle cruiser. In the episode, it was referred to, simply, as a "cruiser".
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 65), a possible origin for the name of the ship was the T'Acog star system. This was a single star system. T'Acog was a B class star with a magnitude of +7, which was 1/10 the brightness as Sol. This system was the site of a historic battle. It was located in or near Klingon space.
