The IKS Ki'tang was a Klingon Bird-of-Prey in service with the Klingon Defense Force during the Dominion War. It was part of the allied fleet that fought at the second Battle of Chin'toka in late 2375, and was the only ship that was not affected by the Breen energy dampening weapon. After the battle, it was determined that the Ki'tang's chief engineer made a chance alteration to the ship's tritium intermix, which rendered the ship immune to the Breen weapon. This fortuitous discovery proved to be a key development in the allies' frantic search for a defense. (DS9: "When It Rains...")
