Hypertensive shock was a form of shock accompanied by an increase in blood pressure.
In 2374, a USS Voyager crewmember went into hypertensive shock as a result of Srivani experiments, causing her blood pressure to rise to 360 over 125, and ultimately died. (VOY: "Scientific Method")
