Hutchison

Ensign Hutchinson was a Starfleet officer serving aboard the NX-01 Enterprise under the command of Captain Jonathan Archer.

Hutchinson served as a relief helmsman during the incident in the Romulan minefield in 2152. After the Enterprise's regular helmsman, Travis Mayweather, had been piloting the starship through the field of cloaked mines for several hours, Captain Archer suggested Mayweather take a well-deserved break and allow Hutchinson to take over the helm. Mayweather, however, asked to remain at his post. When the news came a moment later that the Enterprise had cleared the minefield, Archer allowed Mayweather to remain at his post, ordering him to continue on the current course. (ENT: "Minefield")
