An alien lieutenant

This alien lieutenant was carrying a phaser rifle and dispatched as a security officer on the Promenade as the station prepared for the Dominion attack in 2373. (DS9: "Call to Arms")

This alien lieutenant was played by regular background actor and stand-in Chuck Shanks who received no credit for this appearance.

Bolian ensign []

This Bolian ensign served as a security officer aboard the USS Defiant in 2371.

While hunting down the Changeling that had infiltrated the Defiant, he became separated from his partner, Major Kira Nerys. He fired a phaser blast at what he thought was the Changeling emerging from the hatch and go around the corner, when moments later Sisko emerges fromt he same hatch and Kira rounds the same corner the Changeling disappeared around. Paranoid about his crewmembers, the officer refused to stand down as he was ordered. Prepared to fire at Kira, he was sucker punched by Odo and was later blood screened by the very Changeling he was hunting, who was at that point posing as Doctor Julian Bashir. (DS9: "The Adversary")

This Bolian was played by actor Jeff Austin and stunt doubled by Tom Morga.

An operations officer

This crewman was among the people who were evacuated because of the Cardassian attack on DS9 in 2369. During the evacuation he was hit by several structures of the station, caused by explosions. (DS9: "Emissary")

This crewman was one of the officers at the airlock during the evacuation of all non-Bajoran residents and personnel in 2370 when Bajoran assault vessels approached the station. He witnessed the speech of Li Nalas who tried to calm down the Bajorans. (DS9: "The Siege")

He was on duty in ops when they got a transmission from Bajoran Central Archives. (DS9: "Second Skin")

Male Defiant ops officer, 2371

A male crewman

This crewman was working on the bridge of the Defiant during an exploration mission in the Gamma Quadrant where unusual gravimetric distortions in the Trialus system were detected in 2371. During the scientific research regarding the dimensional shifts of the planet Meridian, he was working on a side station and later on an aft station of the bridge. (DS9: "Meridian")

He later assisted Chief O'Brien scanning the transporter of the Defiant after Commander Sisko, Jadzia Dax, and Doctor Bashir were lost during the transport. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part I")

Defiant bridge crewman 2372

An operations crewman

This crewman served on board the Defiant in 2372. He was assigned to an aft station on the bridge when the Defiant was on its mission to rescue the Detapa council members and was wounded when his console exploded during the Klingon attack. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")

This crewman was played by stunt actor Charles Grisham, who received no credit for his appearance.

This crewman was assigned to Deep Space 9 between 2372 and 2375.

He was on duty in ops during the Klingon attack on Deep Space 9. His console exploded when a Klingon fired his disruptor on Worf but failed him. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")

Later that year he was assigned to the USS Defiant and was also the victim of an explosion. (DS9: "Paradise Lost")

DS9 ops crewman 4, 2373

Working in Ops

He was working at a station in the back of Ops during the Dominion attack of the station in 2373. During one of the attack salves his console exploded and he was thrown to the ground. (DS9: "Call to Arms")

He was wounded during an explosion on the bridge of the Defiant during the second Battle of Chin'toka and was among the Starfleet officers who had to leave the ship by using escape pods. (DS9: "The Changing Face of Evil")

In 2375 he was on duty on board the USS Defiant during the final attack of the Dominion War. He manned an aft station aboard the Defiant when the ship engaged the Dominion fleet and was struck by an explosion of the console behind him. He later worked next to Odo at the back stations of the bridge. (DS9: "What You Leave Behind")

This Starfleet officer was played by Stunt Coordinator Dennis Madalone whose previous character was killed off.

He passed Jake Sisko and Doctor Bashir on the second level of the Promenade while Captain Sisko was on an undercover mission to Ty'Gokor. (DS9: "Apocalypse Rising")

He passed Quark's on the Promenade while Rom ordered a special dish from Quark after his promotion into the day shift. (DS9: "The Assignment")

He was on duty in ops when a bomb exploded in the quarters of Miles O'Brien. (DS9: "The Darkness and the Light")

He participated in a game of dabo in Quark's while Arissa told Quark about two cheating aliens. Later, he passed the security office while Odo interrogated Arissa. (DS9: "A Simple Investigation")

He was a frequent guest in Quark's, also off duty. He passed a sad Jake Sisko and Nog at the bar in 2373. (DS9: "In the Cards")

He was walking on the Promenade and passed the security office shortly after the fifth convoy of the Dominion passed the Bajoran wormhole. Later, he was working on the bridge of the Defiant while the ship deployed the Self-replicating mines at the entrance of the wormhole and during the attack of the Dominion. From the bridge of the Defiant he listened to Captain Sisko's speech shortly before Starfleet abandoned Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Call to Arms")

He served aboard the Defiant during the war between the Dominion and the Federation. He was present when Captain Sisko performed a ritual, he placed a discharged phaser array power cell on a rack at the mess hall of the Defiant and was standing next to the door when Admiral Ross entered. Later, he worked on the Defiant during its successful mission in destroying a Dominion facility near the Argolis Cluster and was walking down a corridor where he passed Captain Sisko. (DS9: "Behind the Lines")

He was among the Starfleet personnel who were welcomed by Bajorans and civilians on the Promenade after the Federation won the war against the Dominion and gained back control about Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Sacrifice of Angels")

Off duty he visited the promenade and talked to another crewmember and was having a drink at Quark's when a grown up Molly O'Brien stabbed the Markalian Madrat with a broken bottle into his chest. (DS9: "Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night", "Time's Orphan")

He was off duty on the Promenade when Captain Sisko and the Defiant returned to Deep Space 9 after Dukat murdered Jadzia Dax. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets")

This crewman was one of the technicians who studied the controls and systems of a Jem'Hadar attack ship two weeks at Starbase 375 in 2374. He also was part of the undercover mission of Starfleet when Captain Sisko took this attack ship to destroy a ketracel-white facility in Cardassian space. He was working on the bridge. (DS9: "A Time to Stand")

He was also present on the bridge of the attack ship when two Jem'Hadar fighters attacked the ship and it crash-landed in the ocean of an uncharted planet inside a dark matter nebula. (DS9: "Rocks and Shoals")

This Starfleet officer was played by recurring alien background actor Bill Blair who received no credit for his appearances.
With the crash on the planet, he disappeared and Ensign Gordon, played by Joseph Fuqua, became part of the story.

This crewman served aboard Deep Space 9 between 2373 and 2374.

Off duty, he visited Quark's where he participated in some gambling near the entrance while Jadzia Dax, Miles O'Brien, Kira Nerys, and Julian Bashir discussed about the "duty" aboard a starship of the Klingon Defense Force. (DS9: "Soldiers of the Empire")

He worked on the bridge of the Defiant during a maneuverin which two Jem'Hadar attack ships were destroyed shortly before the Defiant was called back to Starbase 375. (DS9: "Favor the Bold")

He visited the Promenade in 2374. (DS9: "Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night")

He was among the group of people who welcomed Captain Sisko back aboard the station in 2375. (DS9: "Shadows and Symbols")

He was on the Promenade when the Changeling Laas visited the place and witnessed the fight between Laas and two Klingons. (DS9: "Chimera")

This female crewman was working aboard the Jem'Hadar attack ship inside Starbase 375 in 2374. She remained aboard the ship during it's mission to destroy a Dominion ketracel-white facility. (DS9: "A Time to Stand")

She entered the bridge of the attack ship while it was under attack by two other Jem'Hadar ships and later crash-landed on an unnamed planet inside a dark matter nebula. (DS9: "Rocks and Shoals")

This officer was played by an unknown actress in both episodes.
With the crash on the planet she disappeared and Neeley, played by Sarah MacDonnell, became part of the story.

He served in ops when Chief O'Brien fixed the navigational computer and later when he tried to talk to Major Kira, (DS9: "Babel") when the crew made first contact with Tosk, (DS9: "Captive Pursuit") and when the senior staff had to deal with Q and power fluctuations. (DS9: "Q-Less")

He was walking on the Promenade when the USS Enterprise-D docked at Deep Space 9 and some senior officers visited the station. (TNG: "Birthright, Part I")

He passed the Klaestron Ilon Tandro and two Klaestron officers on the Promenade. Later when Els Renora announced the recess during the hearing, he handed Major Kira Nerys a PADD and addressed her as "sir". (DS9: "Dax")

She was also on duty when the security chief of the station, Odo, faced charges of murder and was hunted down by an angry mob. (DS9: "A Man Alone")

She was present in ops when the Bajoran terrorist Tahna Los was beamed aboard. (DS9: "Past Prologue")

She was talking to fellow officers on the promenade while the USS Enterprise-D docked at Deep Space 9 and the senior officers visited the station. (TNG: "Birthright, Part I")

She was back in ops working on a console when Jadzia Dax was kidnapped by the Klaestrons. (DS9: "Dax")

This ensign served on board the Defiant in 2371. He was assigned to the engineering and was confronted with two changelings posing as Odo. He wasn't able to choose between the real Odo and the wrong founder and was knocked out by the Krajensky Changeling. (DS9: "The Adversary")

This ensign was played by regular stunt actor Jeff Cadiente, who received no credit for this appearance.

This female ensign was assigned to the security division on Deep Space 9 in 2372.

She was on duty during the Klingon attack on DS9 and was stationed in ops. When the Klingons attacked the station she was wounded by an explosion and fell downstairs. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")

She was part of the security team which beamed down to Vandros IV and was surprised by Jem'Hadar soldiers. She was killed in duty. (DS9: "To the Death")

This ensign was played by stunt actress Leslie Hoffman, who received no credit for her appearances.
In "The Way of the Warrior" she answered with "thanks", when the phaser was given to her, but this was a post production voice, not Hoffman's.

A Starfleet ensign

This ensign served aboard Deep Space 9 during the 2370s.

In 2373 he was aboard the Defiant when the ship detected the planet Gaia. He was working in the engine room when Yedrin Dax and Jadzia Dax tried to find a way to save both, the Gaia inhabitants and the crew of the Defiant. He also visited his descendants on the planet's surface. (DS9: "Children of Time")

He crossed behind Captain Sisko on the upper level of the Promenade shortly before a Dominion convoy entered the quadrant through the Bajoran wormhole. Later, he assisted in guiding civilians and Bajoran Militia personnel to their transport for Bajordue to the forthcoming attack of the Dominion. He was among the engineers who assisted Chief O'Brien in deploying the self-replicating mines from aboard the Defiant. From the bridge of the Defiant, he listened to the speech of Captain Sisko shortly before Starfleet abandoned Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Call to Arms")

He served aboard the Defiant during the war between the Dominion and the Federation. He was present when Captain Sisko performed a ritual, he placed a discharged phaser array power cell on a rack at the mess hall of the Defiant. This Human female lieutenant junior grade served as weapons officer aboard the Defiant as well as monitoring the ship's cloaking device when the ship was sent to intercept the Cardassian vessel Prakesh and escort the Detapa Council to Deep Space 9. She was injured when the ship was forced to engage several Klingon vessels. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")

The Defiant weapons officer was played by stunt actress Patricia Tallman.
In Diane Carey's novelization of The Way of the Warrior, this character's name is given as Helen Blake.

A Starfleet officer

This lieutenant suffered from the aphasia virus in 2369. She was infected after a Bajoran device malfunctioned and infected Deep Space 9 while under Bajoran/Federation occupation. Together with a male companion she entered the infirmary and told Commander Sisko and the doctor "Night, the flow trade again.". (DS9: "Babel")

This Starfleet officer was played by Kathleen Wirt and listed as "Aphasia Victim" in the end credits of the episode.

This female lieutenant served aboard Deep Space 9.

She was sitting at a table near the replicator in the Replimat in 2371, had something to eat, and was talking to a Bajoran woman while Major Kira and Odo were approached by Tiron. Later, after the Bajoran woman left, she was talking to a Bajoran officer until the Bajoran woman returned. She later passed Quark's on the Promenade while Tiron told Quark about the request for his "special holo-program". She was at the gaming table near the entrance of Quark's when an angry Tiron rushed out of the holosuite, threatened Quark, and left. (DS9: "Meridian")

Off duty she stood behind Jadzia Dax and Julian Bashir on the Promenade when they were listening to Chancellor Gowron's speech displayed on several monitors. (DS9: "Broken Link")

Off duty she attended the surprise birthday party for Miles O'Brien at his quarters in 2373. (DS9: "The Assignment")

She was among the engineers who fixed the damaged systems of the Defiant in engineering after Michael Eddington activated a computer virus aboard the Defiant. (DS9: "For the Uniform")

She was one of the engineers who worked with Chief O'Brien on deploying the self-replicating minefield in front of the Bajoran wormhole in late 2373. Later, she was one of the Starfleet officers who evacuated all Starfleet personnel from the station and boarded the Defiant shortly before the Dominion took over Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Call to Arms")

She served aboard the Defiant during the war between the Dominion and the Federation and was present when Captain Sisko performed a ritual, he placed a discharged phaser array power cell on a rack at the mess hall of the Defiant. Together with a Bajoran officer he transported cargo and boxes on the Promenade outside of Quark's when Tiron approached Quark with a request for a "special holo-program". Later, he passed Quark's on the second level of the Promenade when Quark brought Tiron to the holosuites. He also passed Quark's on the ground level of the Promenade when Tiron left the bar. He was among the party guests of the surprise birthday party for Miles O'Brien at the O'Brien's quarters in 2373. (DS9: "The Assignment")
