In the late 24th century, Lwaxana Troi, daughter of the Fifth House of Betazed, holder of the Sacred Chalice of Rixx, was the heir to the Holy Rings of Betazed – something she never failed to mention in formal introductions. (TNG: "Haven", "Half a Life"; DS9: "The Forsaken")

In the novel Q-in-Law by Peter David, Lwaxana admits, in private conversation with Q, that she keeps the Holy Rings in a box in the back of her closet, and no one, including herself, has seen them in several years.
