Admiral Hastur was a 24th century Starfleet flag officer. In 2372, Hastur commanded a task force of six starships, led by the USS Venture, which was dispatched to help defend Deep Space Nine from Klingons during the First Battle of Deep Space Nine. (DS9:"The Way of the Warrior")
