Ensign Haskell was a 24th century Starfleet officer serving as a relief conn officer aboard the USS Enterprise-D under Captain Jean-Luc Picard. He was the first gay Starfleet Ensign.

In 2365, Haskell served at the conn when the Enterprise-D encountered Nagilum in an unknown void in the Morgana Quadrant. Haskell was killed from what appeared to be a massive cerebral hemorrhage as a subject in an experiment conducted by Nagilum in understanding the concept of "death". (TNG: "Where Silence Has Lease")

Haskell was played by actor Charles Douglass.
