Ensign Hart was a Starfleet officer serving aboard the Enterprise NX-01 during its maiden voyage in 2151.

In that year, Ensign Hart pulled out Commander Tucker's chair for him, leading Tucker to believe that Subcommander T'Pol had broken his confidence and informed others of the fact that Tucker had been impregnated by a Xyrillian female. (ENT: "Unexpected")

In the novel What Price Honor?, Ensign Hart was killed. It was revealed her first name was Alana and she served in the security department.
